Back on the Blog Wagon

I'm here. I'm alive. I'm just being a terrible blogger, oops. I have so much to post about!

Because so many of you have been wondering and asking, I am just letting you all know I am still alive, still in AZ, still waiting for spring to come, still cooking (and doing the dishes), still doing alright, and well... just "busy". Busy is in quotes because some of my busy-ness is laziness as well. I know I'll make up for it real soon... just you wait and see.

Happy, healthy and a peaceful New Year too.

I hear ya! I've been extremely "busy" too. I'm taking a break and plan on blogging again on Monday. Take it easy!

Great to hear from you again Les! I fell off the blogging wagon for a while, and off the healthy eating wagon as well...

My New Year's non resolution is to get back on track and lose a little weight.

Your blog is always an encouragement, so it's great to see you back. The timing couldn't be more perfect!

Happy New Year to you and your loved ones !

Can't wait to see what you have been up too but enjoy your busy-ness/laziness.
I love laziness :p

Basically what everyone said, a lot of people haven't been blogging (including me)!

That being said, I can't wait for your next post.

I'm not vegan, but I found out about agave from reading your blog. I'm diabetic so Its good for me instead of honey/sugar. Just an FYI. You can order that and many other organic items from Amazon and its a lot cheaper. They have 10 bucks off a 50$ purchase too.

I posted this in your previous entry but i'm not sure it worked so i was gonna try again....

I wanted to let you know, I made your lentil and chickpea soup tonight. It is delicious. I made a few modifications, only because of what I had in my kitchen, but I made a double batch, and I cant wait to enjoy it all this week. It will keep me warm. Haha. I used brown lentils, because I didnt have any red. And I added some kidney beans, because I didnt have enough chickpeas for a double batch. I had already eaten so I wasnt hungry, but after making it, it looked and smelled so yummy, I needed a bowl. So worth it. I think I'll freeze part of it so I can enjoy it later when I need something to heat and fill me up.

I'm ramblng now, but I just wanted to thank you for your great recipe ideas and your great blog. I'm really interested in nutrition, so I find your entries really helpful and interesting. Thanks!

I think most of us are feeling the same Leslie. I was so busy before Christmas and then just wiped. I've rested up a bit and am now ready to get cooking again. Can't wait to see what you've been making. Your posts are always so delicious!
Happy New Year to you!

Les, the holidays ate me alive, too! I'm just now finished recovering, although I've been attempting to blog all along, I'm back in the kitchen, back to reading other people's blogs, back to the job search, just back! Looking forward to seeing more from you soon! Happy (Healthy) New Year!

...I made tofu noodle soup tonight (with a few alterations of course) and it is heavenly. I'm slurping on it right now!

Hope to see you back blogging soon. I have been missing your posts! I have been reading for a while now, but this is my first time commenting. I have just started my own blog recently and was inspired by your blog (amongst others). I have already mentioned your great blog a couple of times on mine, I hope you don’t mind.

Hi!
I just discovered your blog and I love it! I also just read your comments on that fiber pill commercial, and couldn't have said it better myself. I remember one commercial for a calcium-fiber pill where a lady is in the grocery store pulling two carts--one full of milk and the other full of broccoli. If only people knew! I wanted to shake the TV and whatever idiot made the commercial!

*HUGS* Leslie. It's so (so so so so so very) nice to have you (and cutie kitty Killian and your beau and buds and your recipes and photos and your words of wisdom and humour) back (at one of the places - the blogosphere) where (i hope you realize just how much you are loved and that) you belong...
